How to Read Odds
Decimal Odds
The most familiar format on tkabt is decimal odds. The calculation is simple: stake × odds = total return.
Example: you place a ৳500 bet at odds of 1.80.
৳500 × 1.80 = ৳900 total return
That means a net profit of ৳400 after your original stake.
Implied Probability: To understand the chance of winning from the odds, the formula is 1 ÷ odds × 100. In the example: 1 ÷ 1.80 × 100 = 55.6% — meaning the bookmaker considers the probability of that outcome occurring to be around 55.6%.
Fractional Odds
For example, 4/5 means ৳4 profit for every ৳5 staked. More common in British markets. To convert to decimal: (4÷5)+1 = 1.80.
American Odds (Moneyline)
